I am very proud of my association with the Planetary Gemological Association, Bangkok Thailand, having earned the title of Planetary Gemologist, and becoming the worlds 10th Planetary gemologist in 2007. Besides passing the PGA’s certification test, one is also required to be a mundane gemologist. I am both a Graduate Gemologist, Gemological Institute of America, 1984, as well as a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, 1986. I am one of only three Planetary Gemologists in the world having earned both of the worlds most respected mundane gemological diplomas.
I am a master goldsmith, graduate Albuquerque School of Jewelers Arts, 1976. Involved in all aspects of design and creation of fine gold jewelry for more than 30 years. I combine traditional technique with the newest in cad/cam technology and state of the art laser equipment. All designs are my own, with all work produced by me, one at a time, here in my New Mexico studio.
I am one of only two people in the world (that I’m aware of) incorporating “panca amrita”, the five nectars or elements, in the preparation of my talismans. A flawless stone without the “panca amrita” is not a talisman. A talisman requires these five elements; the flawless gemstone for earth, sacred herbs for water , the metal for fire, the symbol for air, and the number for space.
